A Thanksgiving Day prayer

O Lord, with humble hearts we pray,
For your blessing this Thanksgiving Day.
We ask at this table,
Where grateful folk say words of grace,
That You will come to share this meal,

Your bounty given to farm and field.
We pray you will bless us, O Lord,
Each hearth, each home, each child of God;
And that Your peace will come to stay
Where candles glow, Thanksgiving Day.
